Rosacea Gel: Niacin, Prosacea, Benzoyl Peroxide and Erythromycin, Noredol

Niacin Gel

When used as a rosacea gel, niacin has the potential to decrease facial flushing and improve the overall health of your skin. It does so by increasing the moisture of the out skin layer and combating cellular damage. Niacin can serve as protection for the skin, promote the growth of new skin cells, and decrease inflammation resulting from rosacea. However, if you should consume foods that contain a lot of niacin, then it may cause flare-ups. Consult a medical expert first before using niacin gel, and only use it according to their instructions. The recommendation by experts is to wash your face first, then apply the niacin gel to your skin.

Prosacea

Another rosacea gel is Prosacea, which aims to provide relief from rosacea symptoms. This formula is designed to moisturize the skin and alleviate dry, red irritated skin. By applying it regularly, the company states that it can make your skin appear normal once again. Oil and alcohol are not contained in Prosacea, as these ingredients actually are known to aggravate rosacea.

Benzoyl Peroxide and Erythromycin

An antibiotic, erythromycin is used together with benzoyl peroxide to form a rosacea gel. It contains keratolytic and anti-bacterial properties. This gel in particular was found to have similar to success to the antibiotic metronidazole, which is designed to fight bacteria. A cautionary not however is that benzoyl peroxide has the ability to stimulate the onset of tumors, while erythromycin has the potential to result in pseudomembraneous colitis.

Rejuvenation Antioxidant Noredol Gel

The Rejuvenation Antioxidant Noredol Gel works to enhance the skin’s process of rejuvenation. The result is decreased blemishes, redness, breakouts, flare-ups, and large pores. This rosacea gel moisturizes and provides relief.

Some of the ingredients include vitamin A, aloe vera, and other natural antioxidants. These ingredients have proven to be healthy for the skin by reducing inflammation and serving as anti-bacterial agents. Recommended use is 4 times per day.

Noredol Skin Care Clear Gel

Another Noredol gel, this one is suited mainly as skin treatment for flare-ups, redness, acne, and breakouts. It’s also an effective remedy if you had too much exposure to certain weather conditions that trigger rosacea.

It also contains aloe vera, which serves to help moisturize the skin. This rosacea gel is good for the skin after shaving.
