Rosacea Cures

Rosacea is inflammation of the skin that is usually found on the face that sometimes looks like acne. Those most likely to be affected by rosacea are fair skinned individuals, primarily Caucasians. Redness is the most common symptom of rosacea, and usually first appears around the forehead, nose, cheeks, and chin. The redness will randomly come and go in the beginning. As the condition progresses, the redness becomes more severe and looks similar to a sunburn. The advanced stages can be characterized by permanent redness, burning, and swelling.

While no definitive rosacea cure exists, with the right approach and effort, you can significantly reduce or even remove symptoms such as redness and breakouts.

Tips For Curing Rosacea

Rosacea can be cured naturally in several ways. Proper skin care is a rosacea cure that is simple, but effective. Using a soft and gentle cleanser, experts advise cleaning your face, wash with mildly warm water, and dry your face with a soft towel. When out in higher temperatures, wearing sunblock is important for skin protection.

Applying alcohol based cream or makeup to your face should be avoided. Instead, use water based makeup and wash it off each day, otherwise it could worsen your condition.

Any skin products that you use should always be all natural, with no synthetics or chemicals of any kind present.

Do your best to stay away from anything that can trigger the condition. Commonly known triggers include emotional stress, hot weather, wind, intense exercise, sun exposure, and alcohol consumption. Stress is one trigger that you have a lot of control over, so focus on finding ways to keep levels at a minimum.

Sugar, coffee, sodas, strong spices, caffeine, refined white flour, tobacco, and salt are all detrimental to the skin. Eat wheat bread, cereal, and pasta instead of white.

Consume lots fresh juices and distilled water each day. Juices are detoxifying and nutritious.

Green tea paste is a natural rosacea cure that you can make at home. Find some green tea leaves and grind them, while adding milk or water to turn it into a paste. Place it on the areas of your pace that are affected for about 15 minutes or so. The soothing property in green tea helps reduce redness. You should begin to see some results in the next few days.

Oatmeal is another one of the natural rosacea cures. When applied several times daily to the affected areas, it works as a skin moisturizer.
